Bournemouth’s injury misery continues, as we now have a timetable for Callum Wilson‘s recovery from an awful-looking weekend knee injury.

It’s a ruptured ACL and six months off for the 23-year-old English striker, who had buried five goals in six Premier League games. Wilson scored 23 goals in 50 matches last season.

He’ll have surgery next week, joining Cherries stars Max Gradel and Tyrone Mings on the sidelines.

From AFCB.co.uk:

”It’s very disappointing for Callum, after what has been an exceptional start to the season, but I am sure he will come back fitter and stronger,” Eddie Howe told afcb.co.uk.
“Callum is the type of character who won’t be fazed by such a setback, and I am sure he will turn this experience into a positive in the long run.

The hits keep on coming for Bournemouth. Can Howe’s crew navigate a third major injury?
