If reports out of Italy are any indication, William Carvalho will again be a fixture of the transfer rumor mill come January.
The highly-sought after defensive midfielder has been linked to Premier League clubs for years in the past, often with Arsenal.
The Sporting CP player, 13-times capped by Portugal, had been out of action since July, but returned to the club fold with a 21-minute shift in league play on Saturday.

Carvalho has been linked with Chelsea and Arsenal in the past, and the Blues are again in the news as a possible destination for him. Also mentioned: Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain.
He’d provide cover for Nemanja Matic at Stamford Bridge, though the 27-year-old Serbian hasn’t been as peerless as his 2014-15 season (who has at Chelsea?).
Wherever he winds up, his destroyer skill set looks set to translate pretty easily.
