Blowouts weren’t limited to the Premier League on Saturday, with teams across Germany seeing some big numbers on the board.

[ PREMIER LEAGUE: Gunners win | Man City, United, Chelsea, too]

While bombastic leaders Bayern Munich only managed a single goal on the road, Wolfsburg and Borussia Monchengladbach both netted four-plus goals on the day.

Wolfsburg 4-2 Hoffenheim

An absolute thriller at Volkswagen Arena, where the hosts looked ready to cruise on goals by Max Kruse and Bas Dost in the first seven minutes.

Hoffenheim narrowed the gap to one before halftime, and then Jonathan Schmid leveled things up in the 54th minute.

But it wasn’t to be for the relegation-scrapping visitors, as Kruse completed a hat trick with goals in the 62nd and 83rd minutes to nab all three points.

Eintracht Frankfurt 1-5 Borussia Monchengladbach

Fabian Johnson’s injury concerns weren’t a problem, as the USMNT star moved back to his preferred position of left wing and helped ‘Gladbach to a dominant win over Timmy Chandler’s home side.

Raffael and Andre Hahn each scored a pair of goals for the visitors, while Mahmoud Dahoud also scored. Chandler subbed on in the 51st minute for Frankfurt, whose goal came courtesy Alexander Meier.

Werder Bremen 0-1 Bayern Munich

Closer than you think at the Weser-Stadion, but Thomas Muller’s 23rd minute goal made sure the visitors were up on the scoreboard for most of the match. No Aron Johannsson for the hosts.

Mainz 0-2 Borussia Dortmund

Marco Reus and Henrikh Mkhitaryan each scored for the visitors on Friday, who reclaimed bit of swagger after their lopsided loss to Robert Lewandowski and Bayern before the international break.

Hamburg 0-0 Bayer Leverkusen — Not much to like in a sleepy affair.
Schalke 2-1 Hertha Berlin — USMNT’s Brooks returns… as late sub.
Augsburg 0-2 Darmstadt —
Visitors well outshot, not outscored.
