VIDEO: Goalkeeper scores freak goal in League Two match

Well, this doesn’t happen too often.

Jesse Joronen, goakeeper for League Two side Stevenage on loan from Championship side Fulham, has scored his first goal. It did not come on a last minute header, or a crazy volley off a corner.

No, it came from just outside his own box. 70 yards away.

Stevenage got REALLY excited on their Twitter feed. As they should have.

Joronen, a 22-year-old Finnish international, made a bit of history as well:

In the end, the goal ended up sparking Stevenage to a 2-1 victory, and while he wasn’t voted Man of the Match, Joronen still picked up a lasting memory.
