[Copy-paste from every other UEFA Champions League roundup this season] Premier League sides continued to enjoy a very mixed bag of results in European competition on Wednesday, as the two Manchester clubs, United and City, were disappointing in their overall performances, though one saved their blushes through a late, late winner.

Manchester City 2-1 Sevilla — FULL RECAP
Man City sure don’t do it the easy way in the Champions League, do they? On top of always finding themselves in difficult groups due to a worrying low coefficient ranking, Manuel Pellegrini‘s bunch (and it was the same story under Roberto Mancini) routinely drop points or leave it until very late on against inferior sides. They did just that on Wednesday, though Kevin De Bruyne was there to bail them out this time (WATCH HERE).
CSKA Moscow 1-1 Manchester United — FULL RECAP
Meanwhile, Man United did just enough to stay second in Group B, as Louis Van Gaal‘s side traveled 1,600 miles from Manchester to Moscow and secured an acceptable away point against last year’s runners-up in Russia. The Red Devils went a goal down after 15 minutes, but Anthony Martial continued to (slowly but surely) justify his $55-million price tag, as the most expensive teenage signing of all time equalized shortly after the hour mark (WATCH HERE).
Paris Saint-Germain 0-0 Real Madrid
What should have been the game of the day turned out to be one of two 0-0 draws, as PSG and Real Madrid played to a scoreless stalemate in the French capital. Zlatan Ibrahimovic started for PSG, as did Cristiano Ronaldo for Madrid — who, it should be mentioned, were without Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and James Rodriguez — but the two sides combined for five shots on target in what can only be described as a massively disappointing fixture.
