Each week looks more and more like a race for second, as Bayern Munich continues to throttle the rest of the Bundesliga (at least more often than not).

The midweek setback to Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League may’ve snapped their winning streak in all competitions, but not in Germany.

What happened outside the Allianz Arena? Let’s take a peek.

Bayer Leverkusen 4-3 Stuttgart

Stuttgart’s hard-luck season continued, as it led 2-0 and 3-1 before giving up three-straight goals to Sebastian Boenisch, Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez and Admir Mehmedi. That last goal came just before stoppage time.

Chicharito dedicated his goal to those in Mexico who’ve battled Hurricane Patricia (now Tropical Storm Patricia).

Bayern Munich 4-0 Koln

Arjen Robben and Arturo Vidal netted before half, while Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Muller scored in the second 45 minutes. All four of those guys are on the same team, which helps explains the champs’ 10-0 record and plus-29 goal differential.

Mainz 1-3 Werder Bremen

Anthony Ujah scored a pair of goals and the visitors leapt out of the relegation picture for the time being with a big win at Mainz. Yoshinori Muto scored for the home side, but not before it faced down a 3-0 halftime deficit.
