Klopp: “Southampton a good team, not an easy game”


Through two games as Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp is still searching for his first win in charge of the Merseyside club.

Klopp, 48, has seen his side impress in a 0-0 draw at Tottenham Hotspur last weekend in the Premier League, then gain a slightly disappointing result as they drew 1-1 at home against 10-man Rubin Kazan on Thursday in the Europa League.

Putting all that to one side, Klopp will manage his first PL home game as Liverpool boss on Sunday against Southampton (Watch live, 12:15 p.m. ET on NBC and online via Live Extra) in what promises to be a special occasion.

No matter what kind of welcome Klopp gets from the home fans in the stands, he knows facing Southampton will be a tough encounter as Ronald Koeman‘s men have picked up seven points from their last nine and are starting to get into the same groove which saw them finish in seventh place last season.
