- Vardy scores again
- Palace loses second-straight
- Foxes increase lead over Eagles
Jamie Vardy scored in his seventh-straight game, and Claudio Ranieri’s Foxes continue to contend for a Top Five slot after a 1-0 win over visiting Crystal Palace on Saturday.
King Power Stadium saw a sleepy first half give away to Vardy’s magic, gifted from a Palace turnover.
Alan Pardew‘s Eagles failed in their bid to pass Leicester City, which now has a four-point advantage on Palace.

Leicester had an opportunity to go up when Marc Albrighton mishit a shot off the goal post, and Riyad Mahrez couldn’t work his magic with the rebound.
And then along came Vardy, racing onto a through ball, touching past Julian Speroni and burying his chance for goal No. 10 of the season.
According to the BBC, Vardy joined an exclusive club to score in seven-straight Premier League games: Thierry Henry, Alan Shearer, Ian Wright, Mark Stein, Emmanuel Adebayor, Ruud van Nistelrooy and Daniel Sturridge.
