Rondon’s header caught the Canaries cold at the start of the second half and despite a good first half display, Alex Neil’s side slumped to a third-straight defeat.
With the win West Brom move up to eight on 14 points, while Norwich are in 16th on nine points.

Norwich were then in the ascendancy as the home side pushed hard for the opener but the Baggies’ defense threw themselves at everything. Nathan Redmond eventually got free and in the 20th minute his low shot was palmed out by Boaz Myhill with the loose ball failing to find a Norwich player.
West Brom did have a glorious chance to score before half time as a well-worked free kick saw Gareth McAuley fire a ball across the six-yard box but Rondon couldn’t connect at the back post. Before half time Redmond prodded over when he should have done better, then Brunt’s long-range shot was saved well by Ruddy after a deflection.
