Bayern Munich 5-1 ArsenalFULL RECAP

Humiliation. Destruction. Domination. Pick your colorful language, and that’s what Bayern did to Arsenal on Wednesday. Maybe it was revenge for what happened two weeks ago, maybe it was Bayern reminded everyone in the world, “Hey, we’re still (arguably) the best in the world. Don’t sleep on us.” (WATCH ALL 6 GOALS HERE)

Chelsea 2-1 Dynamo KyivFULL RECAP

Take a breath, Jose Mourinho, your employment has been extended (at least) one might one more game. Chelsea went ahead early, but Kyiv equalized with less than 15 minutes remaining. Willian, arguably Chelsea’s best player in an otherwise dismal season, scored a stunning free kick (WATCH HERE) to win it late on. (WATCH HIGHLIGHTS HERE)

Barcelona 3-0 BATE Borisov

Neymar scored twice (once from the penalty spot) to continue his ridiculous run of goalscoring form (eight goals in six games – all competitions) and assisted on another to continue his ridiculous run of goal-assisting form (six assists in five games – all competitions). Luis Suarez bagged the aforementioned third Barcelona goal as the Blaugrana moved to within one point of advancing to the knockout stage.

Roma 3-2 Bayer Leverkusen

In 180 minutes played over the two most recent Champions League matchdays, Roma and Leverkusen have given us the gift of 13 goals. That’s nearly a goal every 10 minutes over the span of two entire games. Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez bagged himself another goal, continuing his mini-renaissance in Germany (WATCH HERE), but it wasn’t enough as Mohamed Salah, Edin Dzeko and Miralem Pjanic (penalty kick) knocked off a 10-man Leverkusen side to go second (5 points) in Group E, a point ahead of their Bundesliga counterparts.
