It was a sleepy Saturday in the Bundesliga for the most part, as even a four-goal outing from Bayern Munich is nothing out of the ordinary in Germany’s top-flight.

[ WATCH: Chicharito scores his eighth in five matches ]

Mainz 2-0 Wolfsburg

Julian Draxler was shown red in the 13th minute to put the visitors behind the 8-ball, and Mainz found its opener 18 minutes later through Pablo De Blasis. Though Wolfsburg had its share of chances in the match, Yunus Malli gave Mainz insurance with about 15 minutes to play.

Bayern Munich 4-0 Stuttgart

After throttling Arsenal at the Allianz Arena midweek, the Bavarians picked up where they left off. Arjen Robben scored in the 11th minute, and Bayern had all its goals by the time Thomas Muller netted in the 40th. In between the two, Robert Lewandowski kept up his hot-scoring while Douglas Costa also scored for the table leaders.

Bayer Leverkusen 1-2 Koln

Call it a brace from an unlikely blace, as defender Dominic Maroh scored both Koln goals. Maroh put the hosts up early with a 17th-minute goal, but red-hot Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez equalized for Bayer in the 33rd minute. The hosts went down to 10 men on a straight-red to Kyriakos Papadopoulos in the 53rd minute, and Slovenian back Maroh connected on his second of the night to give Koln all three points.
