Aston Villa vs. Manchester City — 8:30 a.m. ET, NBCSN and online via Live Extra

Remi Garde gets thrown right into the gauntlet in his first match in charge of Aston Villa. Villa sits in last place with just four points, and Garde must try to stop a Manchester City side that is top of the league. The Villans haven’t gotten a win since opening day, and City have won seven of the past eight meetings between the clubs. If Garde were to get a result in this match, he would become an instant hero in the West Midlands.

Arsenal vs. Tottenham Hotspur — 11 a.m. ET, NBCSN and online via Live Extra

The top match of the weekend is by far the North London derby, one of the biggest and best rivalries in the Premier League. Both sides are in great form as of late and are arguably the two hottest clubs in the league, but even if they were battling for relegation, this would be a must-watch. Harry Kane scored twice against Arsenal last season, and will look to add to his tally on Sunday. However, the Gunners have been strong at home against their cross-town rivals, as Spurs have only one win at Arsenal since 1993.

Liverpool vs. Crystal Palace — 11 a.m. ET online via Live Extra

Just one point separates these sides on the table, as Jurgen Klopp looks to remain unbeaten at Liverpool. Klopp has led the Reds to three straight victories, but face a Crystal Palace side that won both fixtures last season by a 3-1 scoreline. Palace will look to take advantage of a Liverpool team that had a long midweek trip to Russia, as Pardew’s men can jump to eighth on the table with a win.
