The journey through Tuesday’s transfer rumors moves wide across Europe, making stops in Ligue 1, Serie A, Liga A and the English Championship.

Manuel Lanzini thinks it’s pretty cool that Liverpool might like his presence at Anfield, but told ESPN that he’d prefer to make his loan to West Ham a full-time thing instead.

Manchester City may make a fresh approach for Real Madrid’s Isco. While the 23-year-old whiz still has 2 1/2 years left on his contract, Manuel Pellegrini might like to toss $37 in Real’s direction.

Allow us to grimace whenever “The next (insert name here)” is tossed around, but Leeds United midfielder Lewis Cook is being hailed as the reincarnation of Paul Scholes. At 18, Cook apparently has Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United in the mix, as well as Stoke City and Bournemouth.
