One of the most incredible moments for MLS and American supporter culture happened in a small-sided game involving children, as Atticus Lane-Dupre saw his Make-a-Wish granted when his youth team took on his beloved Portland Timbers in 2013.

If you’ve seen the video, you remember it (and if you haven’t, it’s embedded below). The Timbers fans chanting for the Caleb Porter-coached Green Machine, booing the evil Timbers opposition, and making us all tear up as the kid beating kidney cancer also beat his favorite team.

And it turns out that kid is now heading across the country to see his Timbers play in the MLS Cup Final. Awesome.
