Sadio Mane continues to be linked with a high-profile move away from Southampton, but the club is adamant on their stance not to sell.

Manchester United has been interested in the Senegalese winger since the summer, and new reports state his play has impressed Bayern Munich as well.

After scoring 17 goals in less than two seasons at Southampton, Bayern boss Pep Guardiola was asked about the links to Mane. Pep spoke highly of the player, saying “I know him from his time in Salzburg and I thought ‘wow’.”

However, Saints’ boss Ronald Koeman said the club has no plans to sell Mane or any player during the January transfer window, not even if they are offered £100 million, equal to about $150 million.

While Mane obviously wouldn’t warrant the biggest transfer fee of all-time, Koeman has once again made it clear that the winger is not for sale.

Mane’s current value is probably around $30 million, although Saints are pricing him closer to $40 million. The club has a recent history of selling off their top talent, but they seem determined to keep that from happening this time around.

However, if the likes of Manchester United and Bayern Munich are truly interested in buying Mane and a bidding war ensues, both clubs have more than enough money to make an offer Southampton can’t refuse.
