Guus Hiddink may be set for another stint as Chelsea interim boss, but he’s not yet tipping his hand.
The Dutchman lost just one Premier League match the last time he filled the role, getting the UEFA Champions League semis and winning the FA Cup in 2009.
Since then, the 69-year-old Hiddink has overseen the Turkish and Netherlands sides with a stint at Anzhi Makhachkala in between.
Here’s a BBC translation of Hiddink’s comments, from a report from Dutch paper De Telegraf:
“I want as much information as possible.
“Chelsea are in a bad situation and there are reasons for that.
“Whether or not I’m visiting their next match depends on my first conversation. Then I’ll decide if I should stay in London longer.”
Any chance Hiddink declines the opportunity to lead the Blues?
