13 minutes into the post-Jose Mourinho era at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea lead 2-0.

A header from Branislav Ivanovic and a powerful finish from Pedro had Chelsea storming ahead at Stamford Bridge on Saturday with the Blues’ stars finally firing on all cylinders — much to the annoyance of many fans — to make the most of some woeful Sunderland defending.

Watching on from the stands was new interim boss Guus Hiddink alongside Chelsea’s owner Roman Abramovich and club legend Didier Drogba.

After each of Chelsea’s first two goals the home fans sung Jose Mourinho’s name loud and proud, while they also chanted “stand up for the Special One” just before Ivanovic’s opener (listen out carefully for those songs in the video above).

Another chant was directed towards their own players and simply stated: “Where were you when we were s***?”

After a rousing start to life post-Mourinho, it is a fair question.
