Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge may have the answer to the biggest question in football:

Where will Pep Guardiola be managing next season?

Unfortunately, Rummenigge won’t tell us what club that is, although he does believe he knows where Pep is going.

Bayern has already confirmed that Carlo Ancelotti will take charge next season when Guardiola leaves at the end of his contract. However, Guardiola’s future remains a mystery.

Speaking to German newspaper Bild, Rummenigge said he will wait for Guardiola himself to announce his intentions.

I think I know where he is going. But I want to leave the announcement to him or his new employer.

At the Christmas party two weeks ago he came to me, he told me that he was looking for a new challenge and almost apologized. It was clearly difficult for him, I’m not disappointed in him.

Guardiola has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League, with Manchester City being the early front-runner. However, you can expect Manchester United and Chelsea to make heavy pushes for Guardiola as well, as their managerial situations are currently up in the air.
