During Leicester’s home game against Manchester City on Tuesday Dec. 29 (Watch live, 2:45 p.m. ET on NBCSN and online via Live Extra) owners Vichai and Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha have made sure each home fan will be given a bottle of beer on arrival at the King Power Stadium.

Not bad, eh?

Leicester’s owners did this at the end of 2014 too, celebrating the club’s promotion back to the Premier League but this time last year they looked dead and buried and almost certain to make a straight return to the Championship. However, a remarkable turnaround in 2015 saw them win seven of their final nine games of the season to survive in the PL and new manager Claudio Ranieri has taken largely the same squad to the top of the PL table on Christmas Day.

What a different 12 months makes.

Below are all the details from Leicester’s official website on the remarkable gesture from the owners.

Just imagine what kind of party and arrangements will be made if Leicester win the title, or even if they finish in the top four…

Leicester City supporters can toast a memorable 2015 with a free beer, courtesy of Club Partner Singha Beer and our owners Vichai and Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha.
It’s not the only time the Blue Army have been treated to the first round, with supporters in King Power Stadium also raising a glass to their team in last season’s finale against Queens Park Rangers and to mark City’s promotion in 2013/14.
But with the Foxes fans roaring their team on to new heights in the Premier League this season, our owners felt that another special reward for them was in order as a further gesture of appreciation.
Vice Chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha told lcfc.com: “2015 has been a wonderful year for our Football Club but, we know that none of this would be possible without the incredible support of our fans.
“They continue to inspire our players to greater things on the pitch and for that we want to say thank you. Their loyalty and belief has helped to make 2015 a special year and we’re delighted that our friends at Singha Corporation will be helping us to give something back. We know it will be a wonderful atmosphere inside King Power Stadium for our final fixture of the year and I hope all 30,000 of you enjoy raising a glass with us as we head into 2016 together.”
