The Daily Star is reporting that United could pay close to $90 million to bring Real Madrid’s James Rodriguez to Manchester. The Colombian international moved to Real from Monaco for a similar price in the summer of 2014, but tensions with new manager Rafa Benitez have some believing the midfielder could be open to a move. James has been linked with a possible move to Chelsea this summer, although United could try to swoop in and steal the deal in January.

Tottenham has been in the market for a striker for some time now, and the club could revive interest in West Brom’s Saido Berahino. Spurs had multiple bids rejected for the 22-year-old this summer in a much publicized spectacle that saw the striker fall out of favor with West Brom. Since the summer saga, Berahino has struggled to get minutes and has scored just three goals after scoring 20 in all competitions last season. Spurs’ boss Mauricio Pochettino has said he like signing players that are familiar with the English game, and with Clinton Njie set to miss an extended period of time after undergoing knee surgery, a move for Berahino could be back on.

Matt Jarvis has made his loan deal with Norwich City permanent, as the winger will sign a three-and-a-half year contract with the Canaries in January. Jarvis has been on loan at Norwich from West Ham since September, but hasn’t played since Halloween after picking up an injury. The deal will be made official on January 2.
