Bournemouth and Crystal Palace shared the spoils on Boxing Day with the two in-form teams drawing 0-0 at the Vitality Stadium.
The Cherries had plenty of chances with Matt Ritchie, Dan Gosling and Tokelo Rantie going close, while Palace always looked dangerous on the break.
With the point Bournemouth have 20 points for the season, while Palace have 30 and move into fifth place.

A lively first half took place on the South Coast with Bournemouth having the better of the chances but Palace looking dangerous on the break. Fraizer Campbell had a glorious chance but bent his effort just over after Damien Delaney‘s cross from the left.
Soon after it was all Bournemouth as Ritchie headed just wide following Junior Stanislas‘ cross from the left.

As half time approached the Cherries continued to push with a cross just evading former Palace striker Glenn Murray at the back post, while Gosling had a shot deflected just wide and Josh King blasted over for Bournemouth.

In the second half Bournemouth continued to push with O’Kane forcing Wayne Hennessey into pushing his shot over the bar, while substitute Rantie had his effort blocked at the last moment.

Palace looked fairly comfortable and were more eager to spring counter attacks than force the issue and it ended honors even with Eddie Howe‘s side failing to make it four wins on the spin.
