Harry Kane‘s first-half double helped Tottenham Hotspur to all three points against Norwich City at White Hart Lane on Saturday.

Kane won and converted a penalty before adding a tight-angled goal before halftime in Spurs’ 3-0 win over the Canaries.

Thomas Carroll added a late beauty to complete the win, as Spurs climb into the Top Four and Norwich is in 17th, within a goal of the drop zone.

Hugo Lloris was called upon in the fifth minute and did not let down the White Hart Lane faithful, flying to his left to parry Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe’s 20-yard rip wide of the goal.

Moments after Harry Kane saw his own shot flop wide, the English star was fed in by Dele Alli and tripped up in the box by Declan Rudd and won a penalty. Kane, of course, converted, and Spurs were up 1-0 in the 26th minute.

Rudd’s the reason it wasn’t 2-0 off a 35th minute corner kick, as he saved headers from Jan Vertonghen and Alli. Toby Alderweireld headed an ensuing corner inches wide of the goal.

Kane made it 2-0 before halftime, found by Alli as Rudd let himself be worked by positioning. The Spurs’ star striker belted a bouncer past the diving Norwich keeper.

Carroll, 23, scored the lone goal after the break, dribbling into space and belting an absolute beauty past Rudd.

That isn’t to say Spurs captain Lloris wasn’t tested, and the French keeper made a number of timely saves in the blowout win.
