  • Manchester City can leapfrog their hosts with a win over Leicester City at King Power Stadium on Tuesday (Watch live, 2:45 p.m. ET on NBCSN and online via Live Extra).

The home Foxes, on the other hand, will try to rebound off just their second loss of the year. Leicester opens the day three points ahead of the visitors, but carries an inferior goal differential.

The combatants are tied for the Premier League lead in goals scores this season with 37, though Leicester was shutout for the first time this season in Saturday’s 1-0 defeat at Liverpool.

    What they’re saying

Leicester defender Danny Simpson on rebounding from the Liverpool loss: “It’s 1-0 and we’re devastated but we’ve just got to keep going. It’s a setback but we’ll bounce back. We’ve got a great team with great characters and great spirit. We’ve got City at home now and with our fans, we’ll get straight at them.”

Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini on the Foxes’ resilience: “Leicester are top of the table because they deserve to be. They have very important players in a very good moment with high performance. They beat Chelsea and drew against United – we must consider they will not collapse because they lost.”

Man City hasn’t won back-to-back Premier League matches since Oct. 17, while Leicester hasn’t lost a pair on the bounce since Feb. 11. Does that change at the King Power on Tuesday? Surely the Foxes have the tenacity to bounce back from Saturday’s loss to Liverpool, but Man City was flying against woeful Sunderland. This could be a doozy, especially if Man City scores early. We’ll score it 3-2 to the visitors.
