Newcastle 3-3 Manchester UnitedFULL RECAP

Manchester United scored three goals in a match for the first time since October, but it wasn’t enough to hold off Newcastle as the match finished a 3-3 draw. The Red Devils went ahead two goals in the first half, but Georginio Wijnaldum and Aleksandar Mitrovic pegged Newcastle level. Wayne Rooney then scored his second of the game as it looked like United was going to leave with all three points, until Paul Dummett equalized in the 90th minute for Steve McClaren‘s Magpies.

Aston Villa 1-0 Crystal PalaceFULL RECAP

Aston Villa snapped their 16-match winless streak in all competitions, earning a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace. It was Villa’s first win in the Premier League since opening day on August 8, as manager Remi Garde has finally gotten off the mark at Villa Park. Joleon Lescott scored the game’s only goal when Crystal Palace goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey bobbled an easy header and let the ball slide through his legs, although Villa deserved the win and put in their best performances of the season. For the fourth straight PL match, Palace was held scoreless.

Bournemouth 1-3 West Ham UnitedFULL RECAP

West Ham moves to fifth on the table thanks to a brilliant performance by Dimitri Payet as the Hammers defeated Bournemouth 3-1. Back from an ankle injury and getting his first start since November, Payet grabbed a goal and assist as the French playmaker showed just how important he is to Slaven Bilic‘s side. Enner Valencia also scored twice, his first Premier League goals in 11 months, a good sign for West Ham moving forward.
