With the Hammers trailing 1-0, Payet stepped up and bent a beautiful shot over the wall and into the top corner, hitting the underside of the crossbar and falling into the back of the net to level the score.
Minutes later, Payet assisted to Enner Valencia, who put West Ham ahead 2-1.
Then it was Valencia’s turn to score a highlight reel goal, as the Ecuadorian winger buried a free kick of his own. From a tighter angle, Valencia sent a knuckling shot that dipped over the wall and in at the near post, capping off a three-goal second half for West Ham.
