VIDEO: Rooney scores scorching goal; has four in last three outings

Wayne Rooney had himself a game on Tuesday at St James’ Park.

The Manchester United captain, 30, scored twice and set up United’s other goal as the Red Devils drew 3-3 away at Newcastle United with a late equalizer denying Rooney the game-winner.

His second, and best, goal of the game arrived in the 79th minute.

Substitute Memphis Depay cut in from the left flank and his blocked shot found Rooney who curled home an unstoppable shot into the top corner.
