On Thursday’s broadcast of the MLS SuperDraft, Taylor Twellman unveiled a thrilling nugget for USMNT fans who also love Major League Soccer.
The Colorado Rapids traded for the top spot in MLS’ allocation order, which helps decide where returning U.S. national team players will be assigned in the league.
And Twellman says that player is… stalwart Nantes winger Alejandro Bedoya. The ESPN broadcaster would only say the deal is being negotiated, but that it could be done in the next week.
The Ligue 1 veteran would almost surely thrive in MLS, and would be domestically-based for the Copa America Centenario next summer.
