Round 21 of the Barclays Premier League has come to a close after a full slate of midweek matches that saw 34 goals from ten games.

While goals were flying in, Everton keeper Tim Howard kept a clean sheet against Manchester City, giving the United States international the nod in net.

Joleon Lescott‘s goal against Crystal Palace gave Aston Villa their first win since the opening day of the season, as the experienced center-back headlines a defense that also includes scorers Robert Huth and Patrick Van Aanholt.

Roberto Firmino‘s brace helped Liverpool to a 3-3 draw against Arsenal, while Dimitri Payet grabbed a goal and assist in West Ham’s convincing win over Bournemouth.

The three strikers combined for seven goals this week, as Jermain Defoe tallied a hat-trick with Olivier Giroud and Wayne Rooney bagging two apiece.
