Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the greatest players of all-time.
However, he does have a petulant streak running through him which sometimes lead to moments like this.

On Sunday Real Madrid brushed past Sporting Gijon 5-1 in La Liga action (Zinedine Zidane’s side were 5-0 up at half time and have now scored 10 goals, and won twice, in his first two games in charge) and Ronaldo was having a pretty good outing with two goals to his name.

In the 52nd minute Ronaldo was blocked off by Nacho Cases in midfield and the Portuguese superstar reacted angrily, kicking the Spanish playmaker, somewhat comically, up the backside.
The referee missed the incident but the TV cameras did not as Ronaldo is clearly a lucky boy.

At the age of 30, I really thought his petulant streak would have vanished. Seems like the three-time World Player of the Year still has a way to go to eradicate that.
