Leicester City 2-0 Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham are through to the fourth round of the FA Cup after knocking off Leicester, one of just three sides who currently sit above them in the Premier League, 2-0 at the King Power Stadium. Son Heung-min fired the visitors into the lead with a stunning strike on 40 minute.
Nacer Chadli completed the scoring for Spurs, expertly slotting home after Son’s splendid through ball unlocked the deep-sitting Leicester defense. Mauricio Pochettino saw his side advance despite resting first-team regulars Hugo Lloris, Jan Vertonghen and Toby Aldeweireld; Harry Kane only saw the final 30 minutes of action, while Dele Alli played just seven minutes on the night, leaving much of the Spurs spine fully rested for Saturday’s away date with Crystal Palace in the league (Watch live at 10 a.m. ET, on USA and online via Live Extra).
Spurs will now face League One side Colchester United at the Colchester Community Stadium in the fourth round on Saturday, Jan. 30.
