With Andy Carroll out injured and Mauro Zarate now at Fiorentina, West Ham has added some depth at the striker position, signing Emmanuel Emenike on loan from Turkish-side Fenerbahce. The 28-year-old has been on loan in Abu Dhabi this season, and will finish out the year at Upton Park. A former Nigerian international, Emenike should be a solid pickup for the Hammers if he can find his scoring boots in the Premier League.

Newcastle has been spending big this transfer window, and all the new talent has forced Florian Thauvin out. Thauvin joined Newcastle in August from Marseille, and the 23-year-old has been sent back to the French club on loan until the summer. With just three Premier League starts this season, Thauvin will get more minutes in Marseille and return to St. James’ Park after the Ligue 1 season finishes.
