Barcelona 6-1 Celta Vigo

This match was a 2-1 game with 15 minutes to play, and then Barcelona exploded for four goals before the final whistle in a masterful performance at Camp Nou. Luis Suarez grabbed a hat-trick to bring his La Liga leading tally up to 23, with Messi, Neymar, and Ivan Rakitic rounding out the scoring. Barca remains three points clear at the top of the table with a game in hand on their closest rivals.

Getafe 0-1 Atletico Madrid

After Real Madrid’s win on Saturday, Atletico Madrid jumped back into second place with a win over Getafe on Sunday. Fernando Torres scored the game’s only goal, finishing home a Yannick Carrasco cross just two minutes in. Atleti would hold that lead for the remaining 88 minutes, keeping another clean sheet as Diego Simeone’s men have only conceded 11 times in 24 La Liga matches.

Fiorentina 2-1 Inter Milan

Fiorentina go third in Serie A after battling to a 2-1 win over Inter Milan in a fiery match at Stadio Artemi Franchi. Inter held the lead after a first half goal from Marcelo Brozovic, but Fiorentina equalized through Borja Valero in the 60th minute before Khouma Babacar stole all three points with a goal in stoppage time. The final 20 minutes also saw three red cards, as Alex Telles and the goalscorer Brozovic were sent off for Inter, while former West Ham winger Mauro Zarate saw red for Fiorentina. With the win, La Viola now sit third on 50 points, while Inter remain fifth on 45.

AC Milan 2-1 Genoa

AC Milan extend their unbeaten run to nine matches in all competitions with a 2-1 win over Genoa in Serie A play. Carlos Bacca opened the scoring in the fifth minute and Keisuke Honda added another just after the hour mark, with Genoa grabbing a late consolation in stoppage time. Milan remains sixth on the Serie A table.
