Real Madrid head to AS Roma for Zinedine Zidane’s first taste of managing in the UCL. He scored a stunning winner in a UCL final back in 2001 and the Real legend will be hoping his side can wrap up the last 16 clash in the first leg against Roma.
Cristiano Ronaldo has been in a combative mood in the lead up to this game. He slammed the “kisses and hugs” of Barcelona’s Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar and called it “meaningless” and then stormed out of a press conference when asked why he hasn’t scored a goal away from home since November 2015. This is a must watch, especially for Zizou’s reaction…
Elsewhere in the UCL Round of 16 on Wednesday, two of the smaller teams left in the competition clash with Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg heading Belgian minnows Gent. The former went through at Manchester United’s expense and topped Group B, while Gent snuck through at Valencia’s expense and made the UCL knockout rounds for the first time in their history. Can they keep the fairytale going? Wolfsburg have just one win in their last six games in all competitions heading into this clash.
