Dele Alli is enjoying a breakout season at Tottenham Hotspur, looking far more experienced than a 19-year-old getting his first taste of Premier League football.
The statistics back the performances, as a new study has deemed Alli the most experienced teenager across Europe’s big five leagues (England, Spain, Italy, Germany, France).

In a list from the CIES Football Observatory calculated using only league matches, Alli is credited with 98 appearances for MK Dons and Tottenham. Barcelona’s Croatian teen Alen Halilovic is second on the list with 97 appearances.
Alli made his professional debut for MK Dons as a 16-year-old in 2012, then playing in League One, England’s third division. His play in League One was so impressive that Spurs paid around $7 million last year to bring him to White Hart Lane.
His first year in the Premier League has been brilliant, grabbing seven goals and five assists while solidifying a place in Tottenham’s starting lineup as the team pushes for a Premier League title.
Alli’s play has also earned him a chance to play for the England national team, scoring a wondergoal in his first start against France.Follow @KyleLynchFC
