The 24-year-old midfielder has been the signing of the summer, a revelation for the Foxes since joining from French-side Caen in August. He has featured in every Premier League match this season, starting the past 22, and is one of the key reasons the club currently sits top of the table.
Kante has been one of the best midfielders in the Premier League this season, as his tireless work rate and timely tackling have earned him great praise, tipped for a spot in the PFA Team of the Year.
Two points clear at the top of the table, Leicester will look at these next two matches as must-win games to keep their grip on the title, although Kante’s absence will surely be felt. Manager Claudio Ranieri has said Wales international Andy King will start in place of the injured Kante.
