Robbed at gunpoint, the 24-year-old Italian striker not only had to deal with the terror that comes from such a situation, but also a ridiculous request.

Let’s first set the unnerving scene, from the BBC:

The Italy international, his wife and two friends, were at traffic lights in the southern Italian city of Naples on Saturday night when they were attacked.

A motorbike pulled level and a masked gunman on the back of the bike forced them to hand over their valuables.

What happened next? The gunman asked Insigne to score a goal for him when the Partenopei visit the Artemio Franchi to face Fiorentina on Monday.

The thought process is amazing, “Hey man. Sorry about the gun but this is strictly business. Give me everything of value you have. Sorry again, Lorenzo. Big fan. Score one for me tomorrow, okay. Forza Napoli Sempre!”
