Riyad Mahrez‘s second-half goal was enough to increase Leicester City’s first place cushion to five points as the Foxes beat Watford 1-0 at Vicarage Road on Saturday.
Next up for Leicester: Back to the King Power to host Newcastle before a trip to Selhurst Park and Crystal Palace.
The loss keeps Watford in 12th place.

Mahrez kept up his Player of the Season campaign with a high and classy finish from outside the 18 that made it 1-0 in the 57th minute.
Watford worked the ball into good positions on several occasions, but Schmeichel almost always seemed well-positioned to make the stop. His late catch of an Odion Ighalo header was no exception.
