Jack Butland has been rewarded for his stellar campaign, signing a contract extension with Stoke City that keeps him at the club until 2021.
The 23-year-old has been with the Potters since 2013, but did not take over the starting role until last season.

Butland currently leads the Premier League with 99 saves on the year, keeping ten clean sheets in the process. His form has been so good that many believe he could start over Joe Hart for the England national team at the EURO’s this summer.
With the Potters in the midst of a transformation, Butland’s new contract is key to the club’s growth. Bojan and Giannelli Imbula also signed extensions this season, as all three players are now locked up long-term at the Britannia.
