Luke Shaw has returned to training with Manchester United for the first time since suffering a horrific double-leg fracture in September.
The 20-year-old defender was in fine form before the injury, and is hoping to regain that form in time for this summer’s European Championship.

While United boss Louis Van Gaal has said it would be “very difficult” for Shaw to be fit in time for the FA Cup Final on May 21, England’s first match at EURO 2016 isn’t until June 11.
However, Hodgson must submit his final England team by May 12. That means Shaw would have to prove his fitness after a month of training, being completely match-fit in just two months time.
It will be an uphill battle for Shaw to make the cut for England, but at 20-years-old, he will have many more opportunities to represent the Three Lions in the future. For now, rehab and recovery should be his number-one priority while everyone should be happy to see him back on the pitch.
