Let’s get right to it.

Wolfsburg 2-0 Real Madrid

The home side is thriving at Volkswagen Arena, as Wolfsburg has stunned Real Madrid with a pair of early goals and leads 2-0 at halftime of its UEFA Champions League quarterfinal first leg on Wednesday.

The La Liga giants entered the tie as heavy favorites after beating Barcelona in Saturday’s El Clasico, but Andre Schurrle was taken down in the box by Casemiro and Rodriguez converted from the spot to make it 1-0 early.

Then Bruno Henrique found Arnold darting through the 18 for a quick and slick finish to make it 2-0. Wow.

Paris Saint-Germain 1-1 Manchester City

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is not at his finishing best, but still has a goal after a Fernando gaffe allowed PSG to equalize against Man City at the Parc des Princes on Wednesday.

Ibrahimovic wasted a few opportunities either wide or right at Joe Hart, including a saved penalty after Bacary Sagna conceded a PK.

Fernandinho led a rush that led to the opener, as David Luiz was in no man’s land while De Bruyne finished past Kevin Trapp to make it 1-0.

Fernando made a horrific gaffe when Hart played him an unexpected short pass. An awful first touch and rushed clearance went off Ibrahimovic and behind Hart. Terrible stuff from City, and it was 1-1.
