Mario Balotelli could be on his way back to Liverpool after AC Milan executive Adriano Galliano said he doesn’t deserve a permanent move to the San Siro.
The striker moved back to Milan on loan last summer, and it looks like his stay will be short-lived after a disappointing spell back in Italy.

Balotelli scored 30 goals in 54 appearances during his first stint with Milan from 2012-14, but was unable to capture that form this time around, currently with just one Serie A goal on the year.
Speaking to the Italian media, Galliano said that while Balotelli would love to stay with the club, he has not performed up to their standards.
He has an immense desire to stay at the club. I hope he shows that with his performances.
I’ve told him that based on what he’s shown, he doesn’t deserve to stay. I told him to convince me that he should stay, as we want the best for him.
He has promised me he will do that and I hope he does.
It’s hard to believe that Balotelli is still just 25-years-old. After winning the Champions League with Inter as a teenager, he has struggled to find consistency in his play while often making headlines for his behavior off the pitch as well.
No matter where he ends up, Balotelli will always be under the microscope. With all signs pointing towards a return to Liverpool, it will then be up to Jurgen Klopp to figure out what to do with his mercurial striker.
