A scoreless draw would’ve done the trick for Manchester City, but Kevin De Bruyne made sure the Premier League side made its first UEFA Champions League semifinal in style.

De Bruyne’s classy 20-yard finish gave City a 1-0 win (3-2 on aggregae) at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday, helping to dispatch Paris Saint-Germain from the UCL quarterfinals.

De Bruyne took a touch to glide into space before curling a ball around a diving Kevin Trapp late in the second half. De Bruyne also scored in the first leg’s 2-2 draw at the Parc des Princes.

Sergio Aguero won a penalty for Manchester City in the first half, but the Argentine striker’s attempt was very poor. Aguero bounced his penalty wide of Kevin Trapp, and then nearly needed the stretcher to get off the field minutes later.

The injury was a contact one, and he stayed in the game. As it stands, City will go through on away goals.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic probably doesn’t have a lot of nightmares, but if they do the subject may well be Joe Hart. After stopping Ibrahimovic’s penalty attempt in the first leg, Hart made two terrific free kick stops in the second.
