Sergio Aguero made a bit of personal history on Tuesday.
The Argentine striker netted his 100th Premier League goal with a headed goal off an Aleksandar Kolarov free kick.
He was offside, but that doesn’t make the goal count any less. It’s Aguero’s sixth goal against the Magpies this season.
Aguero’s strike rate is remarkable this season, and not just against Newcastle. He now has 22 goals in 27 matches, four off from last season’s career-best total of 26.
The Magpies have tied the match 1-1 on a Vurnon Anita goal.
GOAL! Aguero puts Man City 1-0 up & now has 100 #BPL goals in 147 games. He’s 2nd fastest player to reach that total. Shearer took 124 games
