Jose Mourinho will be in the dugout at Old Trafford on June 5, but will he be the Manchester United manager by then?

The former Chelsea boss will take charge of an England side composed of former players and celebrities for Soccer Aid, an annual charity match held to raise money for UNICEF.

Mourinho will be assisted by Sunderland manager Sam Allardyce, while the Rest of the World side will be headed by Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri.

While the Soccer Aid match is always a great event, raising nearly $25 million from the past five years, Mourinho’s presence has brought an added interest to the game.

Jose has been heavily linked to the Manchester United job over the past few months, although recent reports state Paris Saint-Germain is also a potential landing spot.

The link with PSG could be a move by Mourinho’s camp to push through a deal with United, which is believed to be his preferred choice for his next job. Despite months of reports that Mourinho to United is essentially a done-deal, neither side has officially stated an agreement has been made.
