The game in 100 words (or less): Here at PST, we watch every MLS game so you don’t have to, because sometimes (read: Wednesday night’s New York City FC versus Montreal Impact clash at Yankee Stadium) you’re better off having not done so. I suppose that’s what happens when you play soccer on a baseball field that’s about 10 yards too narrow and 20 yards too short. Fortunately for the majority of New Yorkers, they won’t even have been able to watch the game live as it unfolded. Here’s to them having at least one friend at the game who texted them, saying, “hey, man, don’t watch this game.” On a serious note, NYCFC are now winless since the opening day of the 2016 season (seven games – four draws, three losses) and without a single win at home this season (five games – four draws, one loss).

Three Two moments that mattered

50′ — Allen puts NYCFC on top — Something happened! Alert the presses! All kidding aside, what a clever assist this is from Tommy McNamara to set up R.J. Allen for the goal.

91′ — Oduro heads home at the near post for 1-1 — This is the kind of spectacular goal you concede when you’re six games without a win and only three minutes from the final whistle signaling the end of that streak.
