After a relatively uneventful opening half-four at Stamford Bridge, Spurs scored two goals just before the break to keep their slim title hopes alive.

Harry Kane scored the first of the match, his league-leading 25th goal of the season, with Son Heung-min scoring Spurs’ second.

Kane’s opener came on the end of a great bit of play from Tottenham, with Erik Lamela slotting a perfect ball through to Spurs’ top striker. Kane took one touch to beat the keeper and another to finish into the back of the net.

Less than ten minutes later, a terrible giveaway from Branislav Ivanovic led to a quick counter from the visitors, with Son Heung-min making it 2-0 off a feed from Christian Eriksen.
