No longer champions-elect, Bayern Munich are official 2015-16 Bundesliga champions. Meanwhile, Saturday was a dark, dark day for Stuttgart with relegation from the Bundesliga another loss closer.

Ingolstadt 1-2 Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich were knocked out of the UEFA Champions League this week, but at least Pep Guardiola will leave the Allianz Arena this summer knowing he led the Bavarian giants to a fourth-straight Bundesliga title (third under his watch), the first time a German first-division said has ever done so.

The scorer of all Bayern goals on the day? Robert Lewandowski, of course.

Eintracht Frankfurt 1-0 Borussia Dortmund

Bayern’s victory made Dortmund’s trip to Frankfurt completely meaningless for the visitors (Dortmund are 20 points clear of third place while hopelessly watching Bayern celebrate once again), but it could prove the difference between relegation and safety for Eintracht. Saturday’s victory, sealed by Stefan Aigner’s 14th-minute goal, sees Eintracht climb out of 16th (relegation playoff) and into 15th (safety) for the time being.

Stuttgart 1-3 Mainz

The result and aftermath weren’t so joyous for Stuttgart, though,
