Claudio Ranieri wants his Leicester stars to stay together for next season’s big UEFA Champions League run, and at least one of them is on board with his boss.

Jamie Vardy, 29, is within a goal of Premier League leader Harry Kane ahead of the season’s final match day, and if he has his way he’ll be rivaling the Spurs striker from King Power Stadium again next season.

Whether Riyad Mahrez or N'Golo Kante follow suit is one thing, but Vardy seems to think there’s not much reason to leave.

From Sky Sports:

“I am happy here. It has been said before and I will say it again, we are literally all like brothers. We are not just once you leave the training ground that’s it, you’re not going to see them until the next day.

“We are constantly talking to each other, going out for meals. I think in our dressing room, that is the main thing that has got us where we are.

“There are going to be names thrown into the hat all summer, but with the group of lads that we have got, and obviously winning the league, and with Champions League football next year, you would hope that would keep us all together.”

Given the offers that will come in for Mahrez and Kante, the odds that Leicester doesn’t cash in on at least one of its big three stars seem slim. But with the players now basking in almost unprecedented adulation, might they want to see what comes from Leicester next season?
