Tim Howard pens emotional farewell to Everton, Premier League

Tim Howard will make his 414th and final appearance for Everton on Sunday.

Howard, 37, will start against Norwich at Goodison Park (Watch live, 10 a.m. ET on Esquire and online via Live Extra) and is sure to receive adulation from the Everton faithful.

The New Jersey native moved to Manchester United in 2003 and after spending the 2006-07 campaign on loan at Everton he moved their permanently in 2007 and has remained there ever since.

This season injury and a loss of form in a struggling Everton defense has seen Howard make 24 appearances in the PL and earlier this week the Toffees fired manager Roberto Martinez after another disappointing season ensconced in midtable. There will be a lot of change at Goodison over the next few months and now seems like a good time for Howard to move on.

After spending 13 years in England, Howard is returning home to the United States of America this summer and has signed a lucrative contract with the Colorado Rapids of Major League Soccer.
