LEICESTER, England (AP) The man who masterminded the astute recruitment policy behind Leicester’s unlikely English Premier League title triumph has signed a new deal with the club.
Steve Walsh, Leicester’s head of recruitment, has unearthed unheralded players like Riyad Mahrez, Jamie Vardy, and N'Golo Kante since joining the team’s backroom staff in November 2011. They were among the key players in Leicester’s improbable title victory this season.
